We are excited to announce the launch of Ortega Construction Company’s Internship program for students in the field of Construction Management. The Intern program provides students with hands-on experience in the dynamic construction industry. We believe this new program will provide valuable insights, and practical skills and help to better prepare aspiring construction management professionals for the next step of their career.
Ortega Construction Company (“OCC”) was founded in 2010 by Michael Ortega to leverage his 25-plus years of building experience in South Florida. The Company’s focus has primarily been multi-family, mixed-use, and hospitality projects throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties of Florida. Ortega’s values were built by Michael Ortega and his personal beliefs about what leads to success. To start, the number one attribute an individual must have when hired is Passion. While these are fundamental to day-to-day operations in our business, we also understand the importance of balancing the demands of work, family, and self-development.
Our internship program is designed to offer students a comprehensive learning experience in the construction management sector. Interns will have the opportunity to:
