Pro-Max Restoration and Paint Corp. a 28 year old General Contractor specializing in concrete restoration, waterproofing, painting and interior renovation of high rise and commercial structures is currently seeking a highly motivated, team player individual and willing to learn and grow with the company to fill a sales/estimating position.
Qualifications
- Related construction experience is plus
- Ability to navigate specifications and plans
- Ability to handle multiple assignments at once
- Close attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint), and Plan Swift or similar estimating software.
- Passed all estimating courses
- Be a Junior or Senior
- Please provide at least 2 letters of recommendations from a professor
Job Responsibilities
- Attend Pre-Bid meetings, document field conditions, read specifications and drawings, and organize this material efficiently to facilitate the bidding process.
- Perform take-offs mostly digitally, sometimes in the field, and organize all of this data into our bidding software spreadsheets.
- Meet with subcontractors, qualify, and review bids by providing leveling sheets to the sales manager.
- Audit all estimates and take-offs prior to submitting to insure no errors exist in your numbers.
