Position: Entry-level Scheduler
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Estimators/Project Managers/Schedulers in developing, implementing, analyzing, and coordinating the schedule for production or repairs.
- Provide scheduling support to assigned projects.
- Help to monitor and maintain project schedules.
- Close work order sequences and work orders as required.
- Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.
- Participate in updating the master schedule and ERP system reporting.
- Gather schedule information, update, analyze, and prepare reports of the project’s progress.
- Prepare concise schedule narratives in work order sequences describing the actions to be taken for each step.
- Update Schedules and distribute to Supervisors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company scheduling standard operating procedures.
- Maintain quality assurance and control on assigned project schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:
- Education Standard: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed and passed course work are planning and scheduling
- Basic Computer Skills (MS Office, Word, Excel) and ability to use plant IT programs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated root cause analysis skills required.
