Position:  Entry-level Scheduler

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Estimators/Project Managers/Schedulers in developing, implementing, analyzing, and coordinating the schedule for production or repairs.
  • Provide scheduling support to assigned projects.
  • Help to monitor and maintain project schedules.
  • Close work order sequences and work orders as required.
  • Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.
  • Participate in updating the master schedule and ERP system reporting.
  • Gather schedule information, update, analyze, and prepare reports of the project’s progress.
  • Prepare concise schedule narratives in work order sequences describing the actions to be taken for each step.
  • Update Schedules and distribute to Supervisors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company scheduling standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain quality assurance and control on assigned project schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:

  • Education Standard: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completed and passed course work are planning and scheduling
  • Basic Computer Skills (MS Office, Word, Excel) and ability to use plant IT programs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated root cause analysis skills required.
