Camcon Group is seeking to hire an Estimator.
Job Description:
- Prepares construction budget (Design Development, Schematic Drawings, Construction Drawings)
- Practice effective negotiating skills
- Review specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
- Perform Material take-offs and mathematical calculations accurately.
- Analyzing Information, Developing Budgets, Vendor Relationships, Reporting Skills, Estimating, Decision Making, Teamwork, Documentation Skills, etc
Job Requirements:
- Possesses strong written & verbal communications skills & manages time effectively.
- 5+ years’ experience in construction estimating.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel) Procore, and PlanSwift.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or equivalent.
