Atkins is seeking to hire a Cost Estimator to join their Miami, FL Project Controls Group. The position will provide cost estimating support on projects independently while working in client offices. Work involves understanding the scope of projects and then estimate the costs of the project based on the information available.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related technical discipline plus three years’ relevant experience, or two years’ experience since Master’s degree.
The candidate is required to have experience in commercial and institutional projects as well as knowledge of CSI Divisions, quantity take-offs, pricing, and assembling cost estimates. Candidate needs to be familiar with RS Means cost database and other cost databases.
Experience preparing estimates using Job Order Contracting (JOC) is a plus!
