The ABC-FIU Student Chapter headed to Dallas for the 2016 ABC’s Construction Management Competition (CMC) and returned with four awards. The team of students (pictured above) Jonathan Lee, Jose Faria Jr., Manuel Zamora, Laritza Ortega, Melissa Arcila, and Alexandra Riviere from the School of Construction at the Florida International University competed with 22 other teams representing top construction management programs throughout the country. The team won 2nd in the overall competition, 1st in Estimating, 1st in Safety, and placed 3rd in Project Management.

ABC’s Construction Management Competition (CMC) is the hallmark competition that promotes careers in construction management. The competition is sponsored in part by the Trimmer Construction Education Foundation (TCEF) and ABC members.
