Construction Occupations

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), construction-related jobs are expected to grow at a significantly faster rate compared to all other occupations in the United States from 2010 to 2020.  For example, demand for Construction Estimators is expected to grow by 36 percent compared to the national average of 14 percent, while demand for Construction Managers will grow by 17 percent over the same period.  South Florida is already experiencing a strong comeback for construction work according to recent reports from McGraw-Hill Construction.  For example, construction contracts in 2012 are up by 44 percent compared to last year (almost doubled in August).
