We are looking for a junior project engineer civil engineer, who has recently graduated or in the process of obtaining a degree, to join the project management team for our US$400M iconic project for the construction of a terminal structure and a precast garage in Miami.
The candidate will be pro-active, dynamic and team worker. Work will be both in the office and on site. It is required a good knowledge of the most common software packages, as AutoCad, BIM and Windows.
The position offered constitutes a unique experience in the construction of large civil works as well as providing an excellent opportunity for quickly learning the profession of civil engineer.
The candidate shall assist the team in the following duties, among others:
- Document and report project progress to management,
- Update and maintain production logs and as built schedule for the different disciplines,
- Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals,
- Track status of permits required to perform the activities on site,
- Assist the team in updating budgets and make adjustments according to needs as they arise,
- Maintain the data base as a support to the quality control of the works performed on site,
- Supporting the team in the preparation of the construction means and methods
