ATEX is developing multiple projects in Fort Lauderdale, from a restaurant renovation to a multifamily complex. We are an independent and private own developer group focusing on transforming Fort Lauderdale primary for urban workforce residential and mixed-use developments.
As we are building our Project Management team, we are looking for Construction Project Manager. This position would coordinate and supervise residential construction developments simultaneously to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
City: Fort Lauderdale
Experience: 7-8 years min
Ideally: PMP certification from PMI
Responsibilities:
- All project phases from start to completion (CO)
- Preparing budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and timelines
- Selecting subcontractors and awarding work contracts
- Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements
- Reporting progress to owner-developer & other stakeholders
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction personnel
- Problem-solving to address delays, emergencies, or other issues
Skills:
- Exceptional scope – time – cost management control skills
- Diligent, forward-thinking, and adaptable to a dynamic company and project needs
- Demonstrated strong contracting diligence and construction regulation knowledge
- Ability to develop work scope for various construction disciplines
- Proven leadership skills and ability to delegate work
- Good writing skills for proposals and reports
- Excellent technical skills and understanding of construction methods, contracts and blueprints
