Assistant Development Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Real Estate development team and aid in the growth of our commercial and multi-family residential real estate. The Assistant Project Manager will:

  • Work with General Contractors to develop and maintain detailed construction timelines tracking multiple projects in real time;
  • Assist in working with potential tenants
  • Serve as liaison with co-development partners
  • Assist with materials and product ordering;
  • Maintain detailed reports chronicling all project updates, maintaining detailed notes of all project events;
  • Review and analyze quantitative data, investment documents and other material to perform due diligence new real estate development projects;
  • Support the company development team in on-going project management; and
  • Ability to make detailed market “pitch books” for potential real estate transactions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, Business, Finance, or Accounting

Preferred Experience Requirements: 

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of direct work managing project teams;
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications — knowledge of AutoCAD a plus;
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and collaborative “team player” skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Fluent in English and Spanish – written and verbal
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written; and
  • Professional demeanor and desire to succeed in a challenging environment.
